Who are we?
Monkey Bars Aberdeen Limited was established in 2009 when opening Orchid on Langstane Place, Aberdeen. With the devotion to providing high quality drinks and service we acquired Ninety-Nine on The Back Wynd, Aberdeen in 2013. Monkey Bars are a hospitality company who are dedicated to raising the standards of the industry within Aberdeen and Scotland.
A goal of the company has and will always be to invest in the staff and help them carve a future for themselves. In 2022 alongside our longstanding general manager of both bars saw us launch Balanced Bookkeeping Aberdeen.
Orchid.
Orchid is an award winning late night cocktail bar that has been a focal point for cocktail innovation within Scotland since 2009.
Our team are well versed in classic cocktails along with modern culinary techniques which helps us offer guests unique drinks during their experience within the venue.
Due to the global pandemic of COVID19 we had to reinvent our offering thus moving to a cocktail delivery service within our home city. Our online cocktail menu sees new cocktails added weekly along with other products.

Ninety-Nine.
Ninety-Nine is a neighbourhood cocktail which is located in the heart of the Merchant City of Aberdeen. With a passion for great service we provide a relaxed midweek environment and upbeat weekend atmosphere.
From bespoke cocktails to local beers and a fully sustainable wine menu we cater to all your liquid needs.
Along with the liquid liberations we have also have How Bao Now as our kitchen resident serving all things Bao bun related and fried chicken.
The Hatch at Ninety-Nine.
In December of 2022 we decided to take our growing passion for coffee and open our windows to the passing guest.
Open seven days a week from the early morning we serve only locally roasted coffee from some of the best Aberdeen/shire has to offer.
Alongside the hot drinks we work with local bakers to present some of their finest cakes, croissants and tray-bakes.
